Developmental Editing & Coaching for Writers

Developmental Editing

Making Your Plot Netflix-Worthy
This is where I roll up my sleeves.

Developmental Editing is where I help you shape your story from the inside out—structure, pacing, character arcs, plot logic, emotional payoff.
Why am I good at this? I’m a writer, a writing coach, and a publishing consultant. I’ve studied the craft, taught it, practiced it, and published my own books (and a lot of others). So I can spot a saggy middle or a flat character arc from a mile away.
What I Do to Your Text
1
Strengthen your story’s structure while amplifying your unique voice.
2
Help you make characters real, choices meaningful, and endings powerful.
3
Clarify your narrative—all while honoring your original vision and tone.

What You Actually Get
The Results of Developmental Editing
  • Clarity You Can Feel
That nagging feeling that something is “off” in your story? Gone. You’ll finally understand why Chapter 7 felt weird, or why your climax wasn’t hitting. Together, we fix it—structurally and emotionally.
  • A Plot That Works
No more “meh” chapters. We’ll build a story arc that flows, hooks the reader, and actually pays off. A story agents, publishers, and readers want to follow.
  • Publishing Confidence
That inner voice asking “Is this good enough?” finally shuts up. Because it is. I will precisely show you why. You’ll understand why your story has real potential to stand out and even attract interest from top-tier platforms like Netflix or Bollywood. (No exaggeration—be ready for opportunities.)
  • Agent-Ready Synopses (Optional)
Need a tight, punchy synopsis to pitch to literary agents or publishers? I’ll deliver a polished, professional summary to make your submission stand out.

You don’t always need a full edit

Sometimes, all you need is clear answers, a solid structure, or someone who truly understands your vision.

Whether you’re stuck on Chapter 3, doubting your entire plot, or trying to figure out how the hell to launch a book—I’m here for you.

‘What Do You Want to Be?’–mystery/LGBT fiction/coming-of-age/suspense

This novel was born from a real dream. Back in my university days, studying philology and journalism, I wasn’t just fangirling. I was chasing interviews, knocking on newsrooms and editorial offices' doors in the capital, and pitching editors.

That journey became the seed for a deeply personal and mystical thriller about Sasha, a shy student journalist with the same wild dream. He crosses paths with Michael–a charismatic rock star (based on the real-life Lauri from The Rasmus)–and things take a sharp turn from fandom into fate.

My real-life story became a mystical suspense thriller, a rock star fiction book.
(book about meeting your music idol, queer fiction with rock stars and secrets, mystery novel with LGBTQ+ themes, fictional story inspired by The Rasmus.)

‘Me, Us, and a Cucumber Mask’–heartbreak self-help book/ memoir

A sarcastic self-help, emotional healing guide, and poetic memoir. This book is for anyone who’s been dumped, done the dumping, and those trying to survive rejection with grace and wit.
There, I share stories I’ve never told before. From being dumped for bizarre reasons to those little rejections that hit harder than you’d expect. And my own, somewhat bizarre reasons for rejecting good people. The chapter titles alone are worth the read (“Being Perfect Is the Number One Reason to Get Dumped”, anyone?).

There are practical exercises, real advice, and poetry—some deep, some sarcastic, all real. It’s a book for anyone who’s been hurt, healed, or somewhere in between.
(honest book on rejection, real-life breakup stories, self-reflection nonfiction)
